About us & history

Ridgeview Nursery was established over thirty years ago by Joe and Isa Cruickshanks. From small beginnings growing tomatoes and spring annuals in one greenhouse, the nursery has flourished and now covers five acres.

Joined by their daughter Alice and son Andrew, this family run business has gradually changed until it specialises in dahlias. Growing over three hundred varieties, mostly undercover the nursery has a spectacular display of colour every summer.

• Rooted cuttings are available from the nursery from April and May.
• Orders accepted by post only
• Payment can now be made by card and will be taken with order to enable us to minimise clerical work
• Minimum order of £10 excluding carriage
• Orders paid by card over the phone are subject to a 4% surcharge
• Cheques and Potal Order are still accepted
